Love The Dogs!

Kurtis is really enjoying the dog program and being able to train puppies and even adult dogs.  There is such a satisfaction that comes from a job well done....and the pay is amazing, lots of kisses and cuddles from the pooches.

Kurtis and Dakota. He was a stray wandering homeless on the Indian Reservation. They call them Rez dogs.  He is a mix breed. He is very talkative, but just the happiest and friendliest dog.  He means no harm and loves everyone.  He is very well trained, meaning he is very smart!

Kenai's Training

Kurtis has really enjoyed training Kenai.  She is a big girl, but very loving. He is going to miss her when she goes to her forever home.

Kurtis and Kenai a few months after her surgery.  She is still wearing her sling in this picture. It has handles so he can hold her up when she walks so she doesn't fall.  He calls her his suitcase dog...But he also calls her baby girl, princess, pretty girl, and Keena wolf.

Thank You

Hi. I just wanted to thank everyone who has commented on my art or the recent video on Tartan Day and Scotlands Israelitish heritage. Your kind words are uplifting and encouraging. I have a need to feel like I am contributing to the good even though I am imprisoned.

Many people don't realize that I do not have internet access. My contributions get posted online by busy, yet loyal, friends who manage to make time for me. And for that I am very grateful. But, when people post comments I do not actually see them, I am told about them later and sometimes with how fast time flies, it may be much later. So I wanted people to know that even if they don't hear from me immediately, I am moved by their heartfelt well wishes and support.

I also hope people will just write me directly via snail mail or get on my jpay.com email list so we can communicate directly.

take care and I hope to actually hear from you soon.

12"x12"
white fur back, and tan leather like material front.

Celtic art, with Celtic cross and knotwork borders. In the center is the Celtic Tree of Life, an old symbol. Left of the trunk is a triquetra that turns into a man and woman embracing each other. The triquetra has several meanings, it is an old symbol and I use it here to represent Fidelity and the three way relationship between man, woman and God. On the right side of the trunk is the symbol known as the Awen, an old Druidic triad of three rays of light representing man, woman and balance (or harmony).

At the top it says Homesick Art, and the bottom middle is the homesick art logo. It is political prisoner art created by myself.

The art is burned on, high durable quality that took appx. 50 hours to create.
